A Place of Stillness.
A Space of Spirit.
The Temple · Sussex · England
"There are places in the world that hold a frequency, a particular quality of silence that invites you to become still, too. The Temple is one of those places."
Where the Ordinary Becomes Sacred
Nestled in the Sussex countryside, The Temple is a sanctuary dedicated to the practices of yoga, kirtan, meditation, and devotional community. It is not a place for performance. It is a place for arriving, truly arriving, and staying long enough to hear what is already present beneath the noise of daily life.
Rooted in the Sikh philosophy of Chardi Kala, the eternal rising spirit, The Temple holds space for people of every background, belief, and body to gather in the spirit of shared inquiry and mutual warmth.
Every object, every corner, every ceremony within these walls has been chosen with care. The result is an atmosphere that is simultaneously ancient and immediate, a space where time softens and the ordinary becomes sacred.

Yoga & Breathwork
Daily and weekly sessions in Hatha, Pranayama, and Nidra, held within the warmth of The Temple's practice space. Open to all levels, all bodies, all backgrounds.
Kirtan & Sound
The ancient devotional practice of call-and-response chanting. Voices, harmonium, and tabla weave together in a shared vibration that needs no belief, only presence.
Meditation & Silence
Regular sittings and guided meditations explore the territory of stillness. The Temple holds a particular quality of quiet, one that deepens the practice without effort.
Community & Langar
Rooted in the Sikh tradition of Langar, the shared meal, gatherings at The Temple often close with food, conversation, and the warmth of a community in service to one another.
Retreats & Immersions
Half-day and full-day retreats draw the practice deeper. Each is curated specifically for the season, the group, and the particular questions people arrive carrying.
Private Ceremonies
The Temple is available for private ceremonies of blessing, intention-setting, and celebration. A space that holds what ordinary spaces cannot.
